A new series of phenolic triazenes and bis(triazenes), incorporating piperidine was synthesized. Thus, for, 4-(piperidin-1-yldiazenyl)-phenol (3) was synthesized by coupling p-hydroxyphenyldiazonium chloride (2) with piperidine. The synthesis of phenolic arylazotriazene and arylazo(bis)triazene hybrids incorporating piperidine moiety was described. The antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of the synthesized new products were evaluated.
